Running the Gap

Duane ran the 11th Annual Idaho State Journal Pocatello Marathon on Saturday, September 4th. He did a great Job. When he decided he wanted to run a marathon he could barely make it around the block but one year later and 40 lbs lighter he was ready. He trained extremely hard the last 4 months. When he crossed the finish line he looked like he wanted to die but he accomplished his goal. Wow, what motivation! He really enjoyed the experience and is even thinking about running it again. I think that you have to be a little bit crazy to want to run 26 miles but truely admire the athletes who do.

What an awesome accomplishment! That is definately no small feat. I used to run about 10 miles and was DEAD TIRED after that. It takes determination to do a marathon!!
